In the wake of revelations last fall that Santabarbara had taped a private conversation w/ Amedore, I am hearing
from several individuals in political circles that the practice of secretly taping private conversations is becoming
commonplace by those on all sides of the aisle and of the issues.  

My advice to those who hang in those circles, buy Duracell alkaline batteries.  They keep going and going and ...  

those would be energizers..... and as to recording conversations what would you do if your job was being threatened? I'd say he was smart to record it so he could protect himself if he was fired....do you even have a job?

This is a pretty funny post.  When Constantino ran this place we all thought that every room was equipped with a bug.  Then when Signore was here we all felt like we could at least have a normal conversation.  It kinda went backward with Tommasone because he always had his little micro-recorder on his desk or stack of papers.  

As far as "political circles" I am sure this was going on long before Santabarbara.  I would be very surprised if anyone was not recording every conversation.  There is no such thing as having a friendly dinner or drink if Rotterdam politics are involved.

If you don't do anything wrong then it doesn't matter if you are more recorded than the Beatles. Sadly that dirty little game of "gotcha" was pure inspiration from the likes of the Capo who was apparently calling the shots for Angelo way back then. Sad that you can't trust some people.

By "Capo" can we assume you mean Parisi?  Well, you know what they say "what comes around, goes around" I am sure he'll get a taste of that himself someday.

Well then I guess that if you are not doing or saying anything wrong, you have no problem with the government tapping your phone lines, cameras on every street corner, government hacking into your computer, twitter or facebook page, computers in your car that will record every move you make.......guess as long as your aren't saying or doing anything wrong, who should care?

No, that is not at all what I am saying. I am saying that when you are honest and doing no wrong, no dirty tricks like recording by Angelo the recording artiste' will hurt you. And I certainly DO have a problem with the invasion of privacy that people like Capo Gardner use their minions to perpetrate. Angelo is someone who thought he would be cute, yet he looks sleezy and untrustworthy in what he pulled. He should never have listened to the democrap bosses who lead him down the primrose path. ALL party changer-uppers should not have been so fast to follow the pied pipers of socialism so fast. They never learn.

Who cares about recording.....say what you mean and mean what you say......if you have to defend it then folks still wont get it.....a simple
truth always stands.......if hiding/stealing/lying is it then what you say becomes a novel where the end never happens........

Actually heard that GP's demands for certain people to support him, "or else", have been converted to a computer audio file.  This is really funny!  It will be great to see him "Santabarbar'd"

Just wondering who uses Duracell or Energizer?  I guess now it doesn't matter because its put on a computer in a sound file so quick that you don't have to worry about that batteries going dead.

I am told that there is no tape.  The recording was done on a micro-digital-recorder and the 18 min of transccripts are in a computer format.  I am also told that they will only be released to the press and only to refute any claim of denial by certain persons.  They made it clear that they will not stoop to the level of Santabarbara, and will not initiate the issue.  I on the other hand would love for them to send it to YNN and Chan. 13.
