depends on the chances of getting 'hit' by an elder with failing eyes/mind or 'hit' by a spastic/distracted youth.......
learning is NOT a reflex.....it's fast and furious.....I've been out of school so long I forgot how 'fast' I was.....just sit in a room with youth and see how slow you've become.....anyhow, I think a nice mix is good.....temperance not tenure......
...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Pilots, a great analogy: In this case, the pilots of our Education Aircraft should NOT be the Last pilot hired... just ask those who survived the plane crash in the Hudson river piloted by Chesley B. "Sully" Sullenberger. By all accounts, his EXPERIENCE is the primary reason everyone aboard survived.

If Sully Sullenberger had a track record of crash landing half the planes he flys over his 20 years, I would certainly keep ALL of my loved ones off of any plane he flys.
A newspaper is a device for making the ignorant more ignorant and the crazy crazier. ~ H.L. Mencken Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard. ~ H. L. Mencken The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. ~H. Pilots/teachers should be employed based on their ability, experience, their record and not solely on how many hours they have on the job. Sully was a great pilot who had many hours as a glider pilot and not many pilots of any age could have done what he did. By Tony Gonzalez Published: January 17, 2009
Of all his expertise, pilot Chesley Sullenberger’s training in flight without engines was likely a key component in his ability to save all 155 people on board US Airways Flight 1459, a local glider plane pilot said Friday.
I remember a teacher named Seversen in High School who just walked around the halls looking confused and had no classes. He was a full blown teacher who didn't even teach so he was like a hall monitor or something. I would love him to pilot my plane instead of a young lady with clear thoughts and a good brain and reflexes. Right. Does anyone remember that guy?
