Before or after the fact, she will tell you straight...all you have to do is ask...which is always better than assuming.

Ducking for cover during the lead up to the vote, then coming out after the results of the vote isn't leadership or telling it straight.  It's playing politics.  It's cowardly.

Quoted from gadfly
...but a political committee and/or its Board has no responsibility or authority to deliver justice.
Their candidate endorsements have nothing to do with it.

They can run their campaign on delivering justice to those responsible for $400K of unaccounted ALS money.  I can see it now, GP standing up and shaking his fist, promising to bring to justice all those responsible for recklessly using taxpayer money.

Quoted from gadfly
BTW...is BM going to bring them to justice????

After winning the primary and if he wins the general - maaaaaaybeeeeeeeeeeee

Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.
~ H. L. Mencken

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

When did she duck??? No one else has had any trouble accessing her or getting responses from her....she still hasn't "come out"
with her position...I did, as she relayed it to me...just as she would have done if you had bothered to ask.

At least for the time being, no one knows if the GOP Committee was aware of the ALS scandal in progress...but Mertz was...he
could have run his own independent campaign on the promise of that justice...maybe he would have won his Primary...I can see
it now, too...Mertz promising to deliver the same justice...only Mertz would have a harder time convincing listeners if they knew
he watched it happen.

Mertz is not running for office. ND is or may be. So this is a moot point!

There will be plenty of time and plenty of questions that will be asked of all candidates running in schenectady county.

Regardless of who is running or not, it isn't a moot point when you intentionally try to misdirect blame...especially when it involves
a potentially explosive matter with such serious implications.

I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm saying that there is more than enough time for campaigning, debates, question and answer sessions....etc. Everyone who is running in the entire county will have their chance to state their platform and answer the questions from the electorate. There will be many 'explosive' issues asked to all schenectady candidates, from the plex, to EE, to their position on rems, to consolidation, to new development to high taxes.

And I believe that when talking about rottedam, EVERYTHING is an explosive matter!! Just look at the senior center fiasco!!!

Rotterdam has hundreds of thousands of ALS dollars reportedly 'missing'! Rotterdam has an awol town clerk! Yet the senior center is front and center. Only in rotterdam!!

Well it has nothing to do with China, but Rotterdam would have been better off if Mertz had made the ALS scandal public as soon as
he knew about it.
Instead of assuming ND's motives, why don't you just ask her?? I only wish someone had told her to shut up about it because the
first thing she would have done is sound off!! LMAO....just as she eventually agreed to let Doogie put up the REMS sign right after
FDG told her not to.

No one could have known the political implications until after the vote...and pardon me, but the NNTP are not the only four who
openly opposed the tax...some of us had been doing just that for years...from the moment that scam was conceived...and I
was never a member of the NNTP...mostly because it is not a Party.

that was probably all F'ED up with the police contract issue.......being in schenectady puts us as close gumbas to chicago

Do you smell like rotten onions? That is what "Chicago" means. It is a Potawatomi word that means "place of the rotten onion smell." That is the truth.

YUP!!!
That is how 'rotterdam turns'!!

When rotterdamians try to bring their town beyond the 50's...........the same group of generational incestuous folks rear their ugly heads!! They pull out all the stops...........lawsuits, mudslinging, kicking, screaming, bribing, threatening, manipulation..............it's just toooo funny and yet so predictable.

Same names, same faces, same old bullcrap!!

Ah yes its been goin on for thousands of years, ya got yer roolerz and the rooleeze.
Just gotta work around em they really aint as smart as they think they are. (roolerz that is)
the generational incest would overcome them but they are always able to get new blood in the line.
Why do ya think the royal folks in England are so excited about the new bride?
Yeah fresh blood to liven up a dying bloodline.
A daughter of a coal miner they say, its a classic!
