It is all about profits and our government is the #1 Profiteer!

[KEEP IN MIND THIS IS JUST ONE (1) CAFR REPORT]

This CAFR is one (1)  large Government retirement investment account for "some" local governments in NY State. The NY State retirement fund is not mandatory for participation by all local governments in NY state so many have their own Pension fund management accounts so the total holdings of all local governments within New York State is much greater than what is shown in this one (1) CAFR.

Total local government CAFRs produced just in the state of NY each year is over 1900 CAFR reports, each with their own showing. The NY State Retirement Fund may be one of the largest showings of a single CAFR in the State of NY, but the totals from the other 1900 + local government CAFRs in NY would dwarf what is shown here in the NY State Retirement Fund CAFR.

Look and learn.. AND, don't get emotional about what you learn; get accountability.  AND DON'T EVER FORGET why they are working so hard to take your 2nd amendment away from you by whatever tactic or emotional play is available to them. Thieves do not like armed prey, but disarmed ones are "Finger licking Good!"

Keep in mind that there are over 174,000 CAFR or AFR (Annual Financial Reports) produced each year now from across the land. Think of the totals from all, many smaller and some much larger than this one. THINK OF THE COLLECTIVE COMPOSITE OWNERSHIP OUR GOVERNMENT HAS.

WELL, YOU NOW KNOW WHY GORBECHEV WENT DEMOCRATIC. He learned a better form of communism having much greater money and control with an interesting fascism twist.

Truly Yours,

Walter Burien

Do you guys ever get together in the real world to perform an actual circle jerk, or does this virtual one satisfy you enough? It's no surprise Rotterdam is a dead-end town with the mentality of the bitter, right-wing retirees that fill this board with their Fox News rantings.

Not all folks on the right watch Fox news religiously....such as myself. There isn't a media outlet out there that ANYONE can trust!

People have to get their news from someplace. But 'one' place isn't the answer.

Rotterdam is a dead end town with bitter folks because the bitter folks are aware that it is a dead end town. Got it?

And when ya try to turn things around in rotterdam, the same old incestuous bunch, rear their ugly heads and the town moves 'no where'!! Got it?

always believe and trust in the systems set up.....always wait for the government to feed you and clothe
you and supply a speaker for yourself....always believe the laws are made for your liberty....always believe the government has
a bigger heart than yourself and cares more than you do.....always believe the government is a person.....always turn over your
money to the government....always make your children believe in the government as a true force....always believe the government
is only on your side.....

it really has nothing to do with left or right talk....at least to me.....it has everything to do with the fact that my mind/body/spirit is just
that----MINE.....my sweat, my thought, my muscle, my choice, my job, my house, my heart etc etc.....I dont need the government
setting up some of MY hard earned money into a machine that gives it to someone else because the government needs a political
podium puck of "dont you feel bad?"...people have what they have because they have what they have.....as for the government
setting up systems of 'slush funds' for those on their gravy train---THAT JUST PI$$ES ME OFF.....

and unions are set up as podium pucks....and I dont feel bad for the workers....THEY CHOSE TO BE THERE....I did not make them
choose that.....Oh I understand what the government does with them perfectly fine....but I cant help someone out of a 'hole' that
doesn't want to actually leave it.....

there are unions...I say go ahead...but,,,,,remember,,,,,those who CHOSE union work---CHOSE to be podium pucks...I dont feel
sorry for them just as much as I dont feel sorry for a soldier or a trooper or a nurse......we all CHOOSE what we do(NONE being more
elevated than the other)......but when the government elevates one above the other we become fodder for fools....GET IT??? It's called
divide and conquer....so dont tell me about solidarity....a union's solidarity IS FOR ITSELF, and they have chosen that fight--not me...

Wpmurray said it well about the circle jerk,
We deserve what we get as we all cirlce jerk around and let our keepers bleed us.
Some just want to get on the boards so they can become farm hands to help direct all the sheep and cattle into their version of their perfect world.
And Notice when senders expresses his disgust with this sytem we were born into and brainwashed to believe in he is told go to somalia?
That is typical.
All this budget stuff is easy to fix,
Did Mohon need the lovely electronic sign afew years back they have really enhanced learning.
I tried to get a CAFR from the school office they looked at me like I was from mars.
Take the local school back from the feds.
let teachers compete in the market place like any other trade.
But it wont happen too many people want too many things from government.
Every cycle they all come out ,the politcal hopefulls cluttering up the highways and byways with dopey signs.
Vote fore me Ill set ya free. ah huh
Revolution is impossible any more the govenernment has too many people sucking a living from it.
The only way to beat this leviathon is to starve it.
Underground economy, people to people with out the so called men who call themselves benefactors who are so willing to get between us.
That charter school in the old draper building was a hoax from the beginning.
Lots of money changed hands and the people who swarmed into the neighbor hood were arrogant and rude.
Typical demanding  bloodsucking budget busters.
Kids hollerd out the window  at my daughter with racial slurs.  One teacher actualy took a doll from my kids saying it was inappropriate. To me that is stealing.
Called the local Policeman they were chicken ,yep they would not stand up to these arrogant folks, but the Police had no problem sticking a tazer in my back for refusing to answer
his questions.   How about all the police who load up on overtime for the last few years to pad their retierment ,there is a cost cutter for ya.There arrogant parents blocked out driveways, the place was a nut house.
And The local government supported them over the taxpaying residents of the neighborhood.
The local government lied to us as did the leaders of the school and the sabis networked who oversaw them.
Now why would this happen...?
Money gang, cash flow and control.
See how much we need public schools now?
Free public school is outdated and no longer needed.
It was great when the prussian model served the industrail revolution but now it is just there to make compliant consumers and future taxpayers.
It is a dead horse , a corpse, send it to the grave yard.
But that would mean people doing things for them selves and we are all to busy.

We didnt come this far to get this far.

ROTTERDAM
Parents fighting for more state aid

BY MICHAEL GOOT Gazette Reporter

A group of concerned Mohonasen parents and educators are taking the fight for more education aid to their legislators.
Five teachers and parents plan to meet with representatives of Sen. Hugh Farley, R-Niskayuna, and Assemblyman George Amedore, R-Rotterdam, to convince them to help secure more money for the district, which is seeing its aid cut by $3.3 million.
About $800,000 of that cut is being offset from money from the federal teacher jobs bill. The district has to make up nearly $3 million with budget cuts.
A total of 43 teaching jobs could be eliminated under a worst-case scenario budget. Ten full-time support staff and 2 1 /2 administrators would also be cut. The administrator positions include a director of technology that is currently vacant, a math coordinator and the chairperson for the Committee on Special Education.
Parent JoAnne Ingersoll, who has organized the lobbying effort along with fellow parent Lorri Dunleavy, said she is most concerned about how the aid cuts could affect class sizes, which could decrease the quality of education.
“I think scores are going to go down and we’re going to become a school in crisis,” she said. “When people look at different areas to move to, one thing they are going to say, ‘Is Mohonasen where I want to go?’ ” ...................................>>>>.......................................>>>>........................................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01302&AppName=1

NYS pays the highest amount of money per student for education in the country yet the level of education that the kids receive is not up to standard in many school districts, money isn't the problem.                The Highest Per-Pupil Spending in the U.S.
By SEWELL CHAN

New York State spent $14,119 per student — more than any other state in the nation — in the 2005 fiscal year, according to a national analysis of public school spending that the Census Bureau released today.

The analysis, Public Education Finances: 2005, placed New Jersey at No. 2 on the list, at $13,800, followed by the District of Columbia (which was treated as a state) at $12,979, Vermont at $11,835 and Connecticut at $11,572. Seven of the top 10 with the highest per-pupil expenditures were in the Northeast. Detailed tables [Excel] are available through the Census Bureau’s Web site. A graphic of the top five states (including the District of Columbia) is here.

Across the nation, public school districts spent an average of $8,701 per student on elementary and secondary education in the 2005 fiscal year, up by 5 percent from $8,287 the previous year.

To be sure, within states, there are often great disparities between individual school districts. The Census analysis found that in New York City, the largest school district in the country, per-pupil spending was $13,755 — about 2.6 percent less than the state average. Inequities in school financing are at the heart of the lawsuit brought by the Campaign for Fiscal Equity against New York State.

The Census analysis also found that Utah spent the least per student ($5,257), topped next by Arizona ($6,261), Idaho ($6,283), Mississippi ($6,575) and Oklahoma ($6,613). All 10 of the states with the lowest spending per student were in the West or South.

It would more accurate if it said NYS spends more per teacher than any other state, because in reality, that's where most of the money is going.

I think scores will go down because parents aren't willing to pick up the slack.  The basics of Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic can be taught by most parents, while the more advanced high school subjects such as science and advanced mathematics and some of the arts is where resources should be focused.  Problem is, most parents drop their children off at school and take the hands off approach.  Parents want to make money out of thin air to do a job they don't want to do.  The fact is, parents are going to be forced to take a greater roll in their children’s education if they want their child to succeed - which in the long run, is a good thing.

Here's a newsflash for you...they already are. The amount of homework and after school classwork has at least doubled since my 2 boys started at Mohonasen. The school is expecting more material to be covered in the same amount of days and time, so where do you think the overflow is going to go? And if you don't think MOST parents are already involved, you are uninformed.
