My nephew is a NYC cop....k?

He said that it was the 'public sector' employees that were trying to make themselves appear un-expendable. They were pissed because the nyc elected officials proposed some cuts. So the 'public sector' employees organized a 'call in strike' for the first major snow storm. That is the FACTS!

The private sector was not responsible for this attempt at a disaster. It was the public sector......FACT!

I heard there's an investigation on why there's a bunch of sanitation/plow operators getting blitzed at a convenient store during the storm, while reporting "out of fuel"

and in some parts of NYC ... the private contractors who normally plow certain streets did not do their part or
were unable to do their part

“And yet our opponents tell us not to interfere with abortion. They tell us not to impose our morality on those who wish to allow or participate in the taking of the life of infants before birth. Yet no one calls it imposing morality to prohibit the taking of life after a child is born. We’re told about a woman’s right to control her own body. But doesn’t the unborn child have a higher right, and that is to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?” – Ronald Reagan

Wait until the "work slowdown" or the "stoppage."  "Screw everyone, gimme mine!" is their mantra.

There are private contractors doing snow removal in NYC particularly in  Queens and Brooklyn.  I know
people who live in Queens and Brooklyn --- there streets are always plowed by private contractors hired
by the city  .... and those private contractors did NOT respond any faster than the city snow plows did in
those boroughs.

Privatization of municipal services is not always the best way to go.

Ah, and you want to take private business and make it municipal.....municipal theater. municipal hotels, municipal hair salons, municipal gin mills, municipal bakeries, municipal grocery stores, muncipal banks, municipal burritos, municipal drug dealers (cops), municipal sports bars.  Why dont you just move to a communist country.

I notice that DV has not responded about all the goverment businesses downtonw, DRAINING THE TAXPAYERS OF THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY, with low paid employees that not only get ALL their tax withholding back but they get EIC on top of that.
