while doing some consulting work for a non descript  bldg across from the
new sports fields by exit 23

i came across some buried text between town, county and state residents

rotterdam to give up all taxable\ nontaxable property north of the following line
from I-90 exit 24 down rt7 to Princetown,
down princetown to putnam, \
putnam to the mall              | this was suposed to be the thruway from schdy exit to schdy exit on thruway
the mall to 890 north          /       but a certain developer was left in the city
all properties south and west of the line will form the rural hamlet of rotterdam

no police, just a constable
no sewer plant  - dont need one
no town tax  as sales tax will cover all rural costs like princetown
a single school dist for all of remaining rotterdam
mohan the HS schalmont the MS
all in all a very detailed RFP
the town assessor to be part time

it is interesting who lives south and west of the line

i dont think the seniors will like this plan

Exit 24 of I-90 is down in Guilderland by  Crossgates Mall  NOT in Princetown.

Exit 23 of I-90 is on the City of Albany - Town of Bethlehem line overlooking the Hudson River -- miles
from Rotterdam.

The rest of the stuff mentioned sounds like something from Late Night with Art Bell.

Sorry exit 25 - thx for point that out

But it is comming

FDG and BG  and some county board member's Rotterdam will have  nothing with to do with with
neighborhoods of homes less than 1300 sq ft on postage stamp sized lots - way to urban for them

This move will provide an upscale area for the city

The city school dist will continue to move into old unused church facilities for space
For all the extra students

New rotterdam will begin to look more upscale - like clifton park thus drawing more upscale rural retail business

Princetown will benifit greatly.

Rotterdams schools will begin to outshine north colonie and shen

How else can a part-assessor keep all the properties at 100 percent of value

I doubt that the voters of Rotterdam would approve splitting the town in two.
