a few weeks back you folks were criticizing Ms. Savage for having a sign "illegally" by the railroad bridge over Curry Rd --- funny thing is ---- all that time a Farley sign was just 6 feet away from it.
How come in your minds it is "illegal" for Ms. Savage to have a sign there but OK for Farley ??
You will probably give the same excuse that you use to justify keeping Farley in office even though he as screwed us over for 34 years ---- is sucking more than $200,000 a year from public pensions and salaries, spending more than $3.6 million of taxpayer $$ in 3.5 years on "personal services", and using taxpayer dollars to mail election year mailers even though he is sitting on $300,000 + of campaign contributions from Banks, Big Business, and Special Interest Groups.

Yeah, that's right, Bob Farley is horrible, but he's not running for a higher office. I don't like many of the things that he says or pushes for, including giving money to not-for-profits that would otherwise close, and I'm pretty sure that he is part of the reason that the Metroplex was started, but I have also seen many things that he has fought for to save money. Can anyone mention one thing that Sue Savage has done to save the taxpayers money? She just believes in the redistribution of the Schenectady County residents money to businesses, which are mostly in Downtown Schenectady. At least Bob Farley was against the expansion of the failure known as the Metroplex, unlike Sue Savage.
I think that ALL the signs that are up illegally should be taken down, and it's possible that the comments regarding the sign were put on this blog before Hugh Farley's was there. The bright yellow that he uses on his signs are easily visible and I don't remember previously seeing it there. If it is, then he should be charged, but he won't because code enforcement in this town is a joke.
As much as I disliked SS to begin with, her commercial has turned OFF more potential voters than it has swayed. To bold face lie and state that Schenectady is a miracle (without stating the fact that taxpayer moneys from the County Legislature fund her Metroplex miracle) is deplorable. I don't care how she looks or the fact that her signs are illegally placed, but to take credit for not even a full block in the entire City of Schenectady and then proclaim herself a prophet ...well that's just delusional!
