You say that BUT --- 15 of the 22 or 68.2% of the  candidates endorsed and supported
by the Schenectady County Democrats won their races ---- not one Republican was elected to a county-wide office. Obviously the people of Schenectady County overwhelming prefer the candidates that are endorsed by the Democratic Party  over the candidates produced by the Republican Party.

True DVR but stop jumping up and down over a victory in an unopposed "race". It was a little hard to lose City Judge, County Clerk and Family Court Judge-n'est pas? Enjoy this while it last because the unopposed "races" are  over.

When there was an opponent especially in Assembly/State Senate look out. Your working together DEM morons got buried. SS Savage wasted $500,000 and did worse than candidates that spent $5,000. She should have hired more sign holders. Rotterdam Town Board was another shocker where the REP vote crushed the DEM. Even in the City 35% voted against the DEM candidate even with the usual REP blank.

I watched a rebroadcast of one of the Farley-Savage debates last night.  Regrettably, there is no "None of the Above" on the ballot.  They both appeared incompetent, offering no substantive ideas on how to address the issues of unemployment, high taxes, crime, and high residential vacancy that plague the district.  The election again became a vote for the lesser of the evils IMHO  It's time for new faces.

So will Savage again be appointed to a patronage job with NYS?  I believe that she resigned from her
last position as Director for Intergovernmental Relations at the ORPS when she decided to run for the
State Senate.  How long will Governor Cuomo be in office before she scores a six figure job with NYS
government?

I'm surprised NYS Government can operate without the "work" of SS Savage. She is an expert on how to explode taxes, chase small businesses away and spin this as a good thing. She is invaluable to DEM leadership.

SS Savage is also a REP re-election specialist. Who will takeover the leadership of the County DEMS after this humiliating facial?

The reason that those races were unopposed is that the GOP can't get anyone to run.

Mr. Santabarbara came very close to unseating Mr. Amedore --- I have my theories as to how that race
could have been run differently and ended up with a Democratic victory  ... but I am hold my advice to
myself until  either  a) I run for the Assembly seat myself  or b) the next Democrat to run for the seat hires
me as a consultant.
