Remember that the only "organization" that is allowed to shylock is the largest criminal syndicate on Earth: The US Government.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

National Council on Teacher Retirement – An independent association dedicated to safeguarding the integrity of public retirement systems in the United States and its territories to which teachers belong, and to promoting the rights and benefits of all present and future members of the systems.

National Association of State Retirement Administrators – A non-profit association whose members are the directors of the nation's state and local public retirement systems. NASRA members oversee retirement systems that hold more than $2 trillion in assets and provide pension and other benefits to more than two-thirds of all state and local government employees.

National Institute on Retirement Security – A not-for-profit organization established to contribute to informed policymaking by fostering a deep understanding of the value of retirement security to employees, employers, and the economy through national research and education programs. NIRS seeks to encourage the development of public policies that enhance retirement security in America.

Council of Institutional Investors – A non-profit association of public, union and corporate pension funds with combined assets exceeding $3 trillion. Member funds are major long-term shareowners with a duty to protect the retirement assets of millions of American workers. CII strives to educate its members, policymakers and the public about good corporate governance, shareowner rights and related investment issues, and to advocate on the members' behalf.

National Pension Education Association – A national organization of public retirement systems that focuses on educating members about the importance of and the need for retirement planning. Pensions Had Reserves Stored
Before Crash
• Thanks to prefunding, states had lots of
pension reserves saved up before the crash.
• States saved about 87 cents for every dollar in

Sweet deal
so much money sloshing around
http://wimp.com/budgetcuts/

We really would do better to take responsibilty for ourselves instead of having our wealth drained off by force by the gov. and given back to us like it is a gift.
Let em shut the government down they act like they are doing us a favor by staying open.
Oh but we people "need"government right?
Government is a troublesome middleman in the affairs of people.
We could do better without the middleman bleeding us dry and causing us to bicker over who gets communion , which party to join and a host of other things that divide and conquer us.
We could just say no, no to any increases to their so called shortfalls.
Our own local currency would be a start in the right direction, check out the berkshare, or the local currency in Ithica NY.

I talked with Walter B, the CAFR guy, I invited him to come on the forum and answer questions about setting up TRF accounts to fund government spending without raising taxes.
His reply was this place was like a bunch of folks jockeying for politcal positions.
Gee is that true, are all you guys

This is why I home school.  Combining school districts is really not the answer.  Getting back to the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic is probably the most important things.  I had enough experience with a Charter School to last me a life time.  If private schools are not funded by the gov't, then Charter Schools shouldn't be either.  The Charter Schools around here are not as successful as the ones down south.  Maybe if they took a look at why that is they might be ok.  I lived across the street from a Charter School for four years before it was shut down for poor test scores.  We lived a nightmare.  The parents were worse then the kids.  The kids were hanging out the windows harassing the neighborhood kids.  Our driveways were blocked just about everyday.  Garbage all over the place.  Really a bad scene.  Could have never sold the house if you wanted to.  Fix em or get rid of them.

But Bobbi, this is for "the kids." How dare you not worship the throne of public education? You need to kissthe teachers' rings.

Ditcher, I don't know who Walter B is, but not all people on this site are "jockeying for political positions."

I personally am not in the running for anything.  The people who are the main contributors to this site, whether using their real names or not, as they are known to me, are not running for any political positions, but we use this site as a place to speak about the things that are going on locally.  Does that mean that there is no one on this site that will never run for anything?  No, in fact, there are people who post on this site that actively ran last year under the No New Tax Party. This also does not mean that any of the posters on this website will not pursue political positions in the future, but that is not the reason for this site.  This is for people to stay informed of what is going on in the government locally and beyond.

Over the years, I have mentioned this site at several board meetings and have requested that the town board members come to it and see what other residents of the town are saying.  Personally, I have added my actual name to give at least my own personal posts a bit of validity, not to say that others don't.  It just puts an actual person's name behind the thoughts.

I AM NOT a politician....just a nurse....however, if this Walter thinks voters/taxpayers are jockeying for political positions then he is just
as bad as the blood sucking keepers we get to vote for......maybe his fur looks different but all in the same animal kingdom....

and maaaaaaybe Walter should expand their info....because anarchy and chaos are around the corner....the rhetoric used over and
over by the politicos gets used up real quick-like with the web around......

Okay,  meant no offense to anyone personally,.
The CAFR guy has some good ideas, me thinks, the main idea is that if accounts can be managed to meet their goals and not go in the red as retirement accounts, then why could
government not set up accounts the same way?
Alot of the posts from CAFR so there is more who see it.
The main idea which seems good to me about this site is that is is better to talk to each other.
and Anarchy is always tossed in with a negative tone, as anarchy and chaos,
Anarchy is not chaos ,government is  organized chaos.
Anarchy is not some evil thing it is people doing whatever they want except for doing harm. do no harm ,simple enough.
The comment  from Walter was not made by me only relayed.
so just to be clear,
My name is Kevin Mccauley I reside at earl street

It's called using the kids to get what you want.  In Wisconsin, if they cared so much about the kids then why would you shut down schools for a week so they could protest.  How come private schools can give a better education with a lot less money?  I had a home schooler that went back for a couple years in high school because he didn't want to start college at 16 tell me that it was like being a little robots.  Sitting for an hour then getting up in the pack to move on to the next sitting.  So he went for fun.  He had already completed everything he needed to go to college.  Learning can be fun it's schooling that's the problem.
