Gee, you come here and cast aspersions about me and now you're going to ask if I even exist, as you complain about my size? Well, I guess that means I exist.  I've dealt with insults and issues my eternal life.  If you think that someone who is too scared to even say something under their own name is supposed to effect me, you're delusional.  I am who I am and you can either continue to yell and scream, which people will just learn more about you, or you can do what any person who actually has something to back up an argument and start bringing a point instead of just name calling.  It's a sign of a person who has no case against someone, they just start calling names.
I will actually give you credit for this.  While my weight is one issue, I DO make the decision to speak up on issues that I think will effect myself and other town residents.  I am NOT a "cheerleader for anti government causes," I am a person who thinks that it is imperative for those living in a federation, state, county and town as ours, where people have freedom of speech, to tell people who are elected by the masses my ideas and let them know whether I think what they are doing is a good idea or if it is the wrong idea.  I find it quite interesting that you only found this site recently.  After all, your own statements prove that you have been following me for quite some time, as while I have spoken plenty this year at the town board meetings, I don't believe I have spoken at a county meeting in quite a while.
I'll be listening to hear you at a future meeting...if you're brave enough to come out from behind your screen name.

Kevin,
I may not always agree with you but I object strenuously to the insensitive, nasty
comments that have been made about you.
I give you credit for attending town board meetings and being interested in what goes
on in our town,  We need good healthy debate in a democracy.  We don't need the
negativity and insults.
Hope we can continue to have a good healthy debate of the issues that confront the
town that we both love.

“And yet our opponents tell us not to interfere with abortion. They tell us not to impose our morality on those who wish to allow or participate in the taking of the life of infants before birth. Yet no one calls it imposing morality to prohibit the taking of life after a child is born. We’re told about a woman’s right to control her own body. But doesn’t the unborn child have a higher right, and that is to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?” – Ronald Reagan

Thank you and I am always up for a healthy debate of the issues.  We all need to do everything that we can to bring / keep the town the right way (whichever your view may be).  I have always lived in Schenectady County and with only a short term that I lived in Delanson for about 2 years, Rotterdam has always been my home, and always will be for as long as I forsee.  I welcome seeing both sides of arguments and I am willing to admit that I am wrong (see my side of the issue with Wal-Mart at Triangle 13, although I wonder if that would have been better than all the apartments they're going to put there).

I hope that now that you are working in town hall, you will look and see if there are any ways that you can cut and control costs for us.

Rasputin's pillows and mattress must be loosing their fluff and they can feel the pea under all the mattresses......poor poor Rasputin.....
nothing constructive
to talk about so resorts to nothing more than schoolyard antics......just like the OLD DAYS huh?.....are you going to start reminiscing about old
high school football games and the cheerleader dating the quarterback?........

At least Kevin can hold his head up in public...AND smile.......and talk about issues not who knows who or who is sleeping with who or who's kid is
dating who's..........

9/08/10 T.B. Summary
...
Announcement:  Wed. 7:00 REMS and Mohawk presentation
Questions to be submitted on 3x5 cards

When is this meeting being held...what Wednesday?  The Town's website doesn't show it on the calendar nor is there an agenda online.   Did anyone see an announcement in the newspapers?  Or did we get anything in the mail?
How are the residents suppose to know about this meeting?

I believe it is this coming Wednesday, September 15.

I still believe that the people should have their chance to vocalize their concerns. The town has had presentations before and public comment was still allowed.

Like I stated earlier in another post.....questions on cards is a perfect storm for 'unfairness'

This is a vital meeting. When people are deciding who will handle their emergency service and with a possibility of a proposed taxing district.....the people should be allowed the privilege to 'speak' their concerns.

Wait...I found it on the home page of the Town's website.  There is an annoucement that the meeting is on the 15th at 7pm.   Warning...don't click on "read more" because the letter sent to REMS indicates that the meeting is on September 16th (instead of the 15th).  Gee, I hope that REMS has been given the corrected date 'cause if they look for the meeting on the official Town calendar, it ain't there!

from the song by Kanye West ~Runaway~
Let's have a toast for the douchebags,
Let's have a toast for the assholes,
Let's have a toast for the scumbags,
Every one of them that I know
Let's have a toast to the jerkoffs
That'll never take work off
Baby, I got a plan
Run away fast as you can

Anyone offended?  Tough!

Mary--maybe this is why you don't have any candidates to run for office.  Instead of watching goofy guys with no manners at the MTV awards, you should be looking for a mentor so you can "get your groove back."  You are being blasphemed regularly by Reps and now by the newspapers.  I think they may be "toasting" you!
