They must all walk in lockstep in a jackbooted fascist manner, fists held high in the air against the evil republicans, the right-wing, private ownership of property and common sense. Just because the "leaders" say so. NEVER digress. NEVER disagree. QUASH as dissent. CARRY the party line (even if it is personally antithetical to your business ideals) because the new messiah will come (if the man-boy in DC flops and we need a new one.)

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Great idea - it will clean up an eye sore .. bring over 200 jobs into the town.  Generate potential
customer traffic that will help boost business along the Curry Road/Altamont Avenue Corridor.

Ron, you are hysterical!  Coming from someone that owns no property in the Town.

Union entitlements (being paid out for years) and no tax revenue.....what a F'up......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Quoted from AVON
“Obviously, the one drawback is the lack of tax base that it would bring into the town,” Mallozzi said.
But the property could be split, so that its highly visible street front could be utilized for commercial development. Mallozzi said the combination of jobs and additional tax base from a street-front commercial plaza might offset some of taxable property lost if the nursing facility is brought to Curry Road.
“There would undoubtedly be some tax revenue coming in from some of the [commercial] pad sites,” he said.

Hey Robert, let's get the entire parcel on the tax roll.  Let's be responsible to the Town residents and work towards relieving the tax pressures.  And then let's hope the Town Board accepts its fiduciary responsibility to the residents and freeze the budget or roll it back.  I heard FDG will run the town like a business, let's just hope the sign doesn't say, CLOSED!

Sounds like Mallozzi is stuck between a rock and a hard place. He knows its wrong and his quotes are clear to that point, but he doesn't want to bad mouth the Savage/Gillen/Metroplex Vote Machine in his first year.

That's what happens when the "party" gives you favors...they expect the same in return.   And he definitely made out with the new Villa Italia establishment in Schdy.

...hey Ron, I don't take meds. I don't need meds, and if you want to say that to my face, I will be waiting for you to next time I see you at town hall, Mr. Balls. But I don't hit girls or society's pitiful losers, so don't worry. Or do you just want me to sue YOU for slander since you obviously want to spread accusations that I need medication, which may potentially harm my earning potential (if someone were ever to believe anything you say, but they don't)

So Ron Severson, when you want to be a wise-a$s and spread your jackboot as$hole party line and make enemies with me, then step up. I don't back down from bullies, it is on my permanent record, if you were only smart enough to check.

...what a J.O artist...get a job you bum and make something of your life before its too late.

I have lived in Rotterdam most of my life and have a financial interest in a property in town.

As for being hysterical - I think you and the others who oppose every good, new project proposed for
Rotterdam are the hysterical ones.

It would onlybe slander if I used your real name and lied about you in public.   I stand by my previous
comments -- you are the one getting hyper-hysterical.

After decades of poor planning and no vision and doled out favors, I would use the word CAUTIOUS and LEARY!!!! It appears that the overtaxed  residents of schenectady country have to oversee their government officials and examine every new development with a microscope that comes down the pike. I think the residents are fed up and are finally speaking out!!!

and yet the "silent majority" that I have speak to .. want economic development .. the fact is this blog
represents about 3 dozen people  .. 3 dozen who actually post anything .. and some of the 3 dozen
don't live in Rotterdam .. and some of the 3 dozen are actually different "personalities" of the same
person

Not everyone that is a member of the site does any posting but if you look at the number of members it's a lot more than 3 dozen and many are influenced by what is posted here.

That is too bad .. because they are being influenced by a small group that is full of hatred, negativity
lies.

We need a site that will allow people to have a positive and constructive discussion of local issues.
