How about this--no nursing home on Curry because it is a brownfield.

Try and find a deer on the property. Or a sledding hill. The County Home will never be built here. Let the City sink with the weight of tax freeloading nonprofits.

and please dont justify my 'tax donation' to REMS for a non-guaranteed ride for a non-guaranteed outcome via government coercion of the 'poor poor elderly'.....

GOVERNMENT IS NOT SOLVENT......and it's not the governments job to get you to the hospital and it's not my job either.......

I have the same Constituitional Right of Free Speech to argue FOR the
tax district as you have to argue AGAINST it.

I get the distinct impression DVOR that if the voters vote the tax district down you're for funding REMS thru the back door with town funding to subsidize them instead of letting the town get additional funds by allowing  Mohawk to provide ambulance service.

Oh that's really looking out for the taxpayers, huh????? The rotterdam dem administration is more concerned with giving out taxpayers money for those patronage jobs and votes!!! That's what the schenectady county dems do!!!!!!
Rotterdamians better start looking for new people to vote for and vote these clowns OUT before people start walking away from their homes because they can't afford them anymore!!

DVOR is looking to slide into the Town Clerk job, run for the position once EE steps down, and hopefully serve long enough to collect the public pension and benefits.

And they will change the law to let you live out of town, while firing long time workers who don't live in town any longer. In other words, its OK to change the rules for the power elite, yet if you are a working stiff (say a dispatcher at the PD) then you are screwed and BETTER make sure you are living in town!!!!!! Even if you worked for the town for 25 or 30 years!

AS$holes.

The Tommasone administration began subsidizing REMS with $120,000 a year - 2 years ago -
and I agreed with it at the time and continue to agree with it.   If the tax district passes - the
actual cost to taxpayers would only increase $120,000  (since we are already providing the first
$120,000 of the projected $240,000).
So if the referendum fails and if the Town Board decides to continue the funding of REMS from
the General Fund -- it would NOT be "thru the back door" -- it is very much "thru the front door"
-- as part of the General Fund Budget which is debated and voted on annually by the Town
Board.

Mrs. Esposito is still the Town Clerk -- so I will not publicly speculate what my future plans are --
except to say that I hope to be retired to Wyoming, Arizona, or South Carolina shortly after the
town celebrates its Bicentenniel in 2020 -- which would not give me enough time in ofice to
collect a public pension .. so don't worry too much about that.

When you move to those places, you should join the other party. they are success stories because they don't let democraps ruin their states with welfare and taxes.
