Glenn Beck's "non-political" rally on the anniversary of MLK's "I Have A Dream" speech, (becoming known as "Beckapalooza") turns out to be an orgy of Beck self-promotion.
You also failed to mention that money is being raised to help the Special OPs Soldiers families who father/mother were killed in combat by helping to send their children to college and help pay the families expensives that the government won't pay. What part of faith, hope and charity do you have a problem with Box. The charity, founded in 1980, provides college scholarships for children of special operations personnel killed in action or in training. SOWF is very well-run, with low administrative costs and a four-star rating from the watchdog group Charity Navigator. Some 160 of its scholarship recipients have graduated from college in the past 30 years and there are more than 100 students in college now. SOWF, which has only eight staff members, is happily inundated thanks to Glenn Beck's promotional efforts. The group typically raises money through banquet dinners – the most one of these events has ever raised is $1 million, which caused the SOWF staff to “do a little happy dance,” according to Edie Rosenthal, a retired Navy lieutenant commander and spokeswoman for the group. Since Glenn Beck has started talking about the group on his radio and television shows in advance of the 8/28 rally, some $5 million in donations have poured in. “We've never had an event that cost this much either,” says Rosenthal. “I was at the Lincoln Memorial just looking at the number of port-a-potties and the screens that are being set up.” These and other logistics for the rally cost $1 million, according to Rosenthal; the rest of the money raised will go to SOWF coffers. (This arrangement was enough to cause ABC News, which had donated to the event, to pull out.) Rosenthal says Beck is hoping to personally present her group with a $5 million check at the event. (The group also provides counseling and gives $2,000 grants to families of special operations personnel wounded in combat to help the families travel to the hospital.)

Agreed...Both Parties are guilty. Republicans disguise it, Democrats are much more "in your face" with it. Schenectady County is a prime example of political class fascism. In Schenectady County parties are interchangeable, political motive stays the same. Power, Control and Greed.

I wouldn't start posting anything about facts when the President has been totally absent of any facts that he promised while he was a candidate except for his promise to redistribute other people's wealth. Beck must really scare the hell out of you liberals because all you do is attack him. Enjoy your time in the sun because November is just around the corner and then the worm may turn in the other direction.
I am surprised to see that the right is being portrayed of being the 'trouble makers' so to say. The liberal media is what is actually fueling this american uprising. The liberal socialist media 'selected' obama. Now they have to eat crow, because even they know he's a dits, and have no choice but to defend him. And how do they do that? One way is by injecting the word 'racism' every chance they get! Another way is by criticizing conservative talk radio,which is hugely successful and FOX news, which is also hugely successful.
It was the liberal socialist media that drew the line in the sand FIRST. The people of this country are standing up to the bullcrap coming out of washington. They clearly want smaller and less intrusive government and are using their right of free speech to inject that mind thought. They are clearly not the problem here. The liberal socialist media is!
