I'm all for libraries, but NOW!!! In a county where people are packing up and just walking away from their homes and never looking back because their taxes are too high?

Come on....let's use some common sense here!!

TRU-DAT!!!!!

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Why should we pay for assessments in the city?  We already have all the fun we can stand in our assessors office.  We also pay for many other services that we don't need, so why do we pay for them at the county level?

I remember when the old Schenectady Library was on the corner of Union and Seward Place - as a little
tyke, I loved that old building.    I also remember when the old Mont Pleasant branch was in Pleasant
Valley school .. and Mrs. Wilsey would come to our school and read to us.

BTW - when they opened the "new" downtown library in the early 1970's -- I wasn't much impressed with
the modern architecture.
