Ms. DiLeva was well aware of everything that went on....the conspiracy to taint Mr. Del Gallo's competance began long before the

election..not to bring up the past but he wAS CHASSTIZED for a few of his faults during the election campaign...who do you think

fostered that ?  inside private homes andprivate meetings...to make it look like it was the other side  that was stating these so

called flaws.

The party knew he would win....it was a given....and so Mr. FDG won....and they all won on his reputation and finances...

From the very beginning January 2010...the TB did every thing they could to make sure the FDG had no power ...no say....to

set up the 2012 REGIME....this was led by TJ, DM, WC, MM, GP and the lot.

There was never a time when Ms, DiLeva gave any respect to FDG at any meeting...when it counted she wasn't there...because

she already knew the outcome....the vendetta against FDG has been ongoing and shameful..  to add....many times sitting in the

audience, certain people would be texting the TB especially TO ND as to how to answer and what to say when someone at the podium

made a comment or question what was the truth...somehow it always got turned around and the lies that were the answer.

And so a new REGIME is at hand....and that very HAND is only going to give us grief...as TJ has shown in the media with his

well prestaged cohorts.  The GENTLEMAN'S CLUB + ONE.....it's going to be a questionable Administration....  and..

ROTTERDAM.....YOU ASKED FOR IT..

Thank you Mr. Carangelo for having the guts to speak up about what sadly  has gone on and still carry on  in Rotterdam.

AND THANK YOU MR. DEL GALLO....YOU DID A SUPERB JOB....AND YOU STAYED TRUE TO YOUR CHARACTER AND INTEGRITY.

I can swear I remember a TB Meeting when Diane Marco stood up in the peanut gallery and was praising FDG about how generous he was to donate his salary for the Senior Center kitchen remodel, and then the town board went on and on slobbering about what a wonderful job he was doing with the veteran’s monument.  Even Calder expressed his gratitude and FDG was gracious and redirected the compliments to the other people donating the supplies and doing the work on the monument.

They were either disingenuous then, and knew the way he was donating his salary was improper, and were leading him down the road for later slaughter, or they are just as incompetent as they accuse FDG of being, and just realized it was improper, and are using this to smear his name in order to shame the Conservative and Democrats that voted for FDG back in to line.

Remember, this new re-ignite Rotterdam TB never received the support of the majority of residents.  They will be getting peppered with criticism from all sides.  Good luck team.

Personally -- I predict that DelGallo and his henchmen -- The Nattering Nayboobs of Negativity - will HANG for this atrocity .. The audit will CLEARLY show that this was a conspiracy to rake the taxpayers.   I for one will be laughing with glee as these Nayboobs are locked up.

When he was "in the fold" all was OK. Now that he is not in the fold, they need to continue to vilify him over anything, and the compliant Gazette reporter who is a dually loyal servant of the democrapic party will print things without dispute. Of course when he did the same thing for the "kitchen" at the senior center, he was a hero. But he didn't stay on their good side so he is now a villain for doing the same sort of thing. I have to hand it to them though- getting the Gazette editorial people to smash him on the head with an anvil was a stroke of political genius. Remember- the democraps are never happy to just beat you. They want to dismember you limb by limb in a political "gotcha!" when ever they can.

Out of this will come two things:

A. No elected official will ever donate back his salary in the future. This is a learning experience for future elected officials.
B. No businessmen or tradesmen will ever do anything gratis for the Town taxpayers again. This is a learning experience for small business people and tradesmen in the town.

And this certainly shows (In addition to her crafting that horribly irresponsible budget with John Napoleon Paulino) why Nicole Dileva is handmaiden of political destruction for the democrap party an was NOT EVER FIT to gain a Republican endorsement.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Mr. DelGallo promised that the monument would be donated -- then has the nerve to submit bills for his "donation".   If you promise to donate something - keep your word.

next time the 'class elections' come up, another group of the 'popular' will show up and claim that certain corner on the playground....not for everyone's good but for their own 'look at me, I'm a court jester'.....

let's see what prevails....

1. their personal business
2. the people's business

they have 2 choices

1. ineptness/greed/corruption
2. truth

The truth never prevails in this Town government....and there is one person who constantly reveals no truth in what she states.

And now that she is elected.....and has all her "MAN FRIENDS" around her....she will be well protected to do what she does best.

Don't be flattered or amused or believe anything this person says or does.....she lays awake at night plotting her next move..

and no not a GENIUS...but an evil person who is greedy, abusive.....and not a role model for any woman....

This is the final word on this....someday all will know...not just talking...but actually revealing the truth OUT LOUD and then

end her personal agenda career....and hopefully, her goal will NOT be met....either as Deputy Supvr.  or Supervisor....

Has Mr. DelGallo paid the taxes on his income that he donated to these projects yet?

If not, he has no right to determine where the money goes.  He turned the money back over to the town, and it is theirs (and his, with his vote) to do with as they wish.

Vet memorial funds questioned
Incoming administration to call for audit of Rotterdam’s finances
By John Purcell As of Thursday, December 22, 2011

#Rotterdam — Supervisor Frank Del Gallo’s tenure on the Rotterdam Town Board was filled with heated debates, and what could be his final meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 14, proved to be no different.

#Contention over the newly constructed veterans memorial, a project Del Gallo initiated and oversaw, was led by Councilwoman Nicola DiLeva, who is leaving the board after not seeking reelection.

#DiLeva argued that while Del Gallo said no taxpayer money would be used to construct the monument, he used his board salary to fund the project after he donated it to the town. She also argued he didn’t follow proper accounting and approval protocol for the project.

#Prior to the Dec. 14 meeting, DiLeva publicly questioned invoices and budget transfers set to be approved by the board. Once discussion items came up on the agenda, Del Gallo defended his fund appropriations.

#“As we went along, money was transferred from my line to pay for different materials for different parts of the job,” Del Gallo said.

#Last year, Del Gallo said the same procedure was followed to pay for renovations to the town’s senior center kitchen. His 2010 salary of $13,000 was used to fund improvements after a $10,000 grant from Senator Hugh Farley didn’t come through. This October, Del Gallo said the town received the money. In the meantime, payments to fund improvements were transferred out of his salary........................>>>>.....................>>>>...................http://www.schenectadyspotlight.com/news/2011/dec/22/vet-memorial-funds-questioned/

Investigation needs to be pointed to every appointed department head.....

Mainly, the budget for the employees at the Sr Center.....which the TB approved shortening hours and employees working for no pay at numerous times when PDM took her vacations and had a family crisis...because of the rules of the
procedures, ( one TB member admitted he never read them)  the 2 employees who lost wages could not get paid for
time worked and they ran the kitchen...gratuities replaced by a 'TIP JAR"....

This all represents violation of rights....and discrimination..

Product missing, personal use of the kitchen facilites, AND product on Town time....selling of product donated to Center.

Funds spent needlessly for improvements at the Center....repayment of Town property destroyed and or thrown out and
replaced  unnecessarily...

Fundraiser for dire stratis person which was politically motivated...and a total fraud.

Not only funds but the work ethics of one who destroyed the meaning of the Sr Center...

Documentation can be forthcoming to everything mentioned above...

Mr Del Gallo need not be chastized for a Memorial....he had no control over many events including insubordination of
appointed person at the Center....which was committed during and after grievances filed and investigated.  time sheets
that were  submitted fraudulently and coercion from others to replace with the correct time sheets....

These may seem insignificant but the entire picture has to be seen and heard....

The complete lack of cooperation from the TB is ongoing only to blow smoke at what really went on behind closed doors.

The coverup and how the Town was run by the TB and the vendetta that all had for FDG.....

Mr. Del Gallo's reputation will never be tainted with such trivial accusations...his integrity remains in tact....the Memorial
and the Sr Center are examples of the caring he had for the residents  of Rotterdam..

]Mr. DelGallo will prevail long after he leaves

the very fact that this new REGIME comes in with agression and negativity is a sign of  things to come to the residents.

Doesn't sound like a responsible and intelligent  approach to government in this town.

.....They play the game, better than they do their job......

MOVE ON AND DO THE AUDIT THE RIGHT WAY FOR THE RIGHT REASONS        .....

Town to unveil new monument to local veterans

   JUSTIN MASON

Gazette Reporter
Frank Del Gallo was searching for an artist to chisel the outline of a soldier into the veterans' monument at Town Hall when he had a chance meeting with a stone engraver from Florida. The Rotterdam supervisor was introduced to Kenny Maguire, who was in the area over the winter, and asked him if he would be interested in helping out with the memorial, under construction since July adjacent to Town Hall. Maguire, a veteran of the Marines wounded during the invasion of Panama, didn't think twice about providing his expertise. His challenge was a monument in an "H" shape, with a bluestone slab between two of limestone.

The two massive slabs of limestone were encased in a plastic shell to shield Maguire from the cold and elements. He then spent more than 350 hours creating the two etchings on either side of the limestone uprights.

"He was working until he got blisters on his hands," Del Gallo said.

But that typified the spirit of the monument to commemorate the service of Rotterdam's veterans. Del Gallo said everyone from the community seemed to chip in, whether it was lending a hand to build the structure or donating money for supplies.

Today, Del Gallo and other dignitaries will gather to celebrate the town's first monument dedicated specifically to Rotterdam veterans. The ceremony will feature U.S. Rep. Paul Tonko as a keynote speaker.

The monument was an idea spurred by Anthony Troiano, the former president of Rotterdam's Disabled American Veterans chapter, who served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. For years, he said he wondered why a town with such a rich military tradition didn't have a memorial for local veterans.

The town already has a small obelisk dedicated to war veterans. However, Troiano envisioned a larger memorial that could both serve as a gathering area for veterans' remembrances and where the plaques bearing the names of Rotterdam's veterans can be displayed.

"It was a vision I had for years and years," he said.

Troiano approached Del Gallo about the idea last year, and the supervisor decided to make it happen. After sketching down Troiano's idea, Del Gallo found a local quarry to donate the limestone and a slab of blue stone to serve as a centerpiece.

Del Gallo said nearly two dozen volunteers spent countless hours working on the monument and park, which is now adorned with flowers. [b]In total, roughly $50,000 was donated to the cause, including Del Gallo's salary as supervisor
.

Veterans and their families can now purchase bronze stars to honor their service. Del Gallo said the stars will be placed in the pavilion surrounding the monument.

"It'll look even better as it goes along," he said.

The article shows that Mr. DelGallo was bragging about EVERYTHING being donated --- it doesn't show Mr. DelGallo telling us that he (and other volunteers/donors) intended to submit bills AFTER Election Day 2011 --- which is what he (and they did).

Bottomline -- you can't take the praise for donating it BEFORE the election ... and then act like a sore loser AFTER the election and submit a pile of bills for something that you never intended to actually donate.
