Fingerprints Now Required At Poway Skate Park
New Security Measure Took Effect Friday Evening

UPDATED: 7:57 pm PDT July 9, 2010

POWAY, Calif. -- A popular skate park in Poway unveiled a new security measure Friday that is being met with some opposition.
At the Poway Skate Park, surveillance cameras capture the every move of every visitor. Additionally, motion detectors are also present and a wrought iron fence surrounds the park. Some visitors said the security measures are a bit much.
"This is the only facility, I'd say, in the San Diego area that has this big reinforcement around it and the turnstile. I've been here when law enforcement causes problems for kids. They come in here and everyone panics, they start feverishly running and they get hurt on the bowls," said skater Doug Marker.

The US is getting more and more reminding me of what I learned about NAZI Germany.  Think about it.

We are known by a number SS card.  Need documentation to travel.  All traffic monitored by cameras on state highways. Cameras to show traffic on local highways Rout 87, 90 etc. to supposedly help with traffic jams. Cameras though out Schenectady marking our every move to supposedly reduce crime.  All stores now have cameras documenting our visits to them and in them. All under the reason that it reduces crime and is for safety.  Grocery stores recording all you purchase. for their inventory control yeah until the Government and Insurance companies invade more and more of our personal choices.  Government tells you what you can and can't eat?    Lots of explanations and excuses for all this.

Now fingerprinting to skate?  Hmmm why is this scary.  Yes, I understand the kids are causing issues but for every loss of freedom there is always this so called reasonable explanation, justification???.

Every time the government proposes or implements a new 'big brother' program or a new 'increase in taxes', they use the words, 'for the common good' to sell or justify it!
