Hannaford opens green store in Duanesburg

Hannaford Supermarkets is opening a store in Duanesburg, N.Y., that was designed with many energy-saving and environmentally friendly features.

The store is located near the corner of Routes 20 and 30 in western Schenectady County, near Esperance. A grand opening will be held June 12 at 7 a.m.

The store will employ about 100 people.
