I don't believe that to be accurate. I have never heard FDG ever state he supported the creation of a tax district.

What about when he voted "YES" to create the tax district?  That doesn't count as supporting it?  The taxing district had to be created before it was put up for referendum.  It was unanimous.

The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable, and so, if he is romantic, he tries to change it. And even if he is not romantic personally he is apt to spread discontent among those who are. ~ H.L. Mencken

I am basing that assessment on his support of the June date for the referendum.  Such scheduling would result in low turnout
and an uninformed electorate which would likely guarantee passage.  Why did Frank oppose changing the date to a time where
more people could vote at one of multiple polling stations and their vote would be based on full disclosure of the details of the
referendum provisions and resulting cost to the taxpayers?

Because like 'ramblin' bob g' said at the meeting, that if the june date was canceled, the vote may never take place. Well, he said that AFTER he blamed the prior admin for the mess they're in! But 'ramblin' bob' is probably correct. The more time that passes, clearly means the more time to educate the people about imposing another tax on them.

By the way......anyone notice how well MG did as the EE, MG fill in? I hope he shaved his legs for the occasion!

I heard that Michelle G. needed some type of certification to legally record the minutes which she doesn't have yet.  She isn't registered with the State, voted in by the Town, but not registered with the State (NYSDOH) vital statistics!

I'm sure they told FDG that it was "ok", and he believed it

EE, RG, FDG, Michele G., Mike G., JL, all FRAUDS!  No one listened and now the residents are paying the price for it!
Goes back to the Kirvin days!!!  Time for new blood, new ideas, new strategies.  Impeach the whole lot of them!
People start fighting for your rights, your property, your taxes and YOUR TOWN!

Seems like maybe ND and MM are starting to wake up.  I say maybe because I want to see what
their votes will be in the future. Stop being puppets and stand up for what YOU believe in!

No one has voted for the creation of a tax district...that was the purpose of the referendum...to ask voters if the district should be
created to fund emergency medical services.

The Board is currently in damage control...trying to regain the residents' trust.   Unfortunately for them, we have great memories and only need to be burned once!   CLEAN OUT THE BARN!

I've never asked him those questions but he has told me that he is against a new tax district but he believes in the residents right to choose for themselves.

Before you have a referendum on a taxing district, you need to create a taxing district.  If he had voted NO on the creation of the taxing district, I would have to assume that he was against it.  But since he voted yes, I assume he's for it.  This bullshit that he wants to give the people a chance to decide themselves is just that - bullshit.  Then FDG sets the date for the week of Independence Day, and excludes absentee ballots. Yeah...A real champion of the people.

No, the registration is with the office of vital statistics.  Legally Michelle G. is not the Deputy Clerk yet.  She probably didn't want to take any heat at the meeting because the Town screwed up and did not get her registered.  She only would sign the minutes as being official sine they tape record the meetings.
