Slanted, maybe, because it seems that every topic eventually gets turned into a political debate.  *Sarcastic mode on* Little Johnny stubbed his toe....blame the Reps, blame the Dems.  *Sarcastic mode off*

But I have not seen anything to suggest that the site be shut shut down.  The "regulars" disagree and have discussions that can be heated, but all in all I think they all respect each other.  Basically, if you can't take the heat, stay out of the fire.

It's amazing some idiot got it wrong but won't come back here and apologize.

And while there is some normal debate, much of it is people calling the current TB this that or the other because they disagree with a stance.  However, and this is especially the case with the Sync rezoning, they often can't defend their own stances.

SCHENECTADY
Burglar draws 3 1 /2 years for Maple Ski Ridge thefts

BY STEVEN COOK Gazette Reporter
Reach Gazette reporter Steven Cook at 395-3122 or scook@dailygazette.net.

One of three men involved in a February 2010 heist at Maple Ski Ridge in Rotterdam apologized in court for his actions Friday.
Steven James, 27, of Edgewood Avenue, spoke at his sentencing on a second-degree burglary plea. He was one of three former Maple Ridge workers charged with taking $32,000 from the ski business. He was also accused in other burglaries.
“I just wanted to say I’m sorry for everything that’s happened, my crimes that I committed,” James told Schenectady County Court Judge Karen Drago.
James added that he had a drug problem at the time. Drago, who heads the county drug court, interrupted James, placing the statement in the present, that he still does have a drug problem. James agreed.
James’ father died while he was in jail. Another judge freed him to attend the father’s funeral, and he returned to the jail later that day. .........................>>>>..........................>>>>...........................http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....r01201&AppName=1
