The police need job secrueity. They will be raiding food joints now! How funny. Of course the police chose to be hand in hand with these totalitarians. How sad for them...suck suck suck...Wow, talk about schucking and jiving your cred for a few acres of swamp. I smell stretched necks at the polls for the democrat hind-lickers next go round. Along with their few GOP minions.

http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2010/03/11/chefs-proposed-new-york-salt-ban-absurd/

Some New York City chefs and restaurant owners are taking aim at a bill introduced in the New York Legislature that, if passed, would ban the use of salt in restaurant cooking.

"No owner or operator of a restaurant in this state shall use salt in any form in the preparation of any food for consumption by customers of such restaurant, including food prepared to be consumed on the premises of such restaurant or off of such premises," the bill, A. 10129, states in part.

The legislation, which Assemblyman Felix Ortiz, D-Brooklyn, introduced on March 5, would fine restaurants $1,000 for each violation.

"The consumer needs to make their own health choices. Just as doctors and the occasional visit to a hospital can't truly control how a person chooses to maintain their health, neither can chefs nor the occasional visit to a restaurant," said Jeff Nathan, the executive chef and co-owner of Abigael's on Broadway. "Modifying trans fats and sodium intake needs to be home based for optimal health. Regulating restaurants will not solve this health issue."

Nathan is part of the group My Food My Choice, which calls itself a coalition of chefs, restaurant owners, and consumers, called the proposed law "absurd" in a press release issued on its Facebook page.

I really don't need the government regulating anything more at this stage. Demorats and conliberaltives think differently. They want to use the political power (monoploy) they have to push their ever-increasing regulatory role further down our throats!

I will assume that this legislator has no FREAKIN' idea how to cook/what to cook, or even if they cook for themselves.....these folks like to make communes so they dont have to do sh*t for themselves....
I dont know about anyone else but, I dont need to make others do things for me....I take care of folks who cant but wish they could and they wish they could make their own damn choices....the problem
is they cry because their bodies and minds are old and no longer able to do what they did FREELY before......

HERE ME, YOU DUMB a** LEGISLATORS

dont do ANYTHING for me that I can do myself and dont legislate ANYONE to do things for me.....soon enough I will be old and someone else will be wiping my a** because I cant,,,,I like to wipe my own
unlike you 'officials'.....

GET OFF MY BACK----DONT TREAD ON ME----I'LL KEEP THE HEALTH INSURANCE I HAVE....DONT MANDATE MY DIET/EXERCISE/ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION/MILK CONSUMPTION/FAT CONSUMPTION ETC ETC ETC

here's an idea----get unions to stop wiping your asses and make the school system work like it is supposed to----TEACH about self care.....remember it's ALWAYS survival of the fittest, if you dont
think so and if you think you are going to 'level' the playing field----get your head out of your a**......IT DOESN'T WORK.....it just sets up other judges/pharises/saducees and the likes with a 'group think'
...Atlas Shrugged Ayn Rand.........ever read it?????

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
