and the ethics attorney  - cant even look that up because the 1/1/2010 info is not posted

You could send the Town Attorney a letter requesting that information and then probably only YOU personally get the answer, maybe.   This way the information never gets disseminated to the all the residents.

Tippy, I love your reference to the Schdy school board, rofl.

My thoughts on this are mixed.  There certainly are times when the answer is cut and dried enough to answer on the spot.  Perhaps other times they need to check through some information in the departments.  Percentage wise, no clue what the split would be.

But my bigger concern in the "postponing" a response is that not eveyone will hear the response.  I think anyway.  Is my guess correct that, say I speak and ask something, they will note my name and address, the appropriate person will write to me directly to my house.  But perhaps others in the room woulde like to know what the answer is/was, how will they know.    Well, I suppose I could go to the next meeting, and during POF say "on X date I asked the question, "...."   FOr the benefit of those citizens in attendance, the town has responsded to me by stating "..."

Sounds great MC....but it is all just bullsh!t! Rotterdam residents should not have to work that hard to find out where their elected officials stand on issues that effect OUR lives and wallets!

Better than the Benedict Arnold award that could go out to many people in town.

The Benedict Arnold Award can be on the village green, in the center, just walk up the wooden stairs to that stage that is marked "gallows." First we can take Lady Gaga, Holly Velveeta, A-jello and Niki DiLeverage. The minor traitors to the Republican-conservative cause can spectate. The traitors that flip-flop-flip because the Chief and his clan of bandits tells them so should really be ashamed of themselves for their duplicity and lack of ideals and values. Instead it is about them not liking certain individuals or personality disputes. How shameful the traitorous ways of these people is. How do they look in thir mirrors after abandoning their beliefs and joining a neo-communist movement like the democrap party!?
