Finally a credible business man to run our Town Government.
Not a career politician like Tomassone.

I think this is like Schenectady's 'SPARKY THE CAT FOR MAYOR'.  Cause Franny ain't got a shot in hell! And anyway, how old is he now?

Bumble ~ there is obviously someone behind all the commotion.  Do you honestly think that Tommasone will survive this?  I can assure you that Fran's entrance into the race will be supported and managed by the most unexpected of characters.   Look back, there were predictions that some "different" personalities would come in to play.

Steve is in serious trouble.  His spending has gotten out of control and he has alienated too many people.  We re-elected Steve based on his first two years, the last two look nothing like that.  You can continue to defend Steve, surprisingly, but he is no doubt in deep trouble.  Regardless of who people "think" you are, you should recognize that he barely represents the Republican party.  He will have major difficulties overcoming issues related to taxes, assessment changes to various individuals, ridiculous spending measures, study after study (of which he picks and chooses which to rely on).  Now he will rely on Parisi to work magic to pull off the victory with the $50,000 in the Rotterdam GOP campaign accounts, but it won't be enough.

The in-fighting in the Republican Party will certainly take a toll.  Who is your money on?

I do agree that there's a change in the wind and there will be surprises before it's all said and done in the next election.

Bumble thrulife,

I don't particularly care WHO wins the super race.........
What is amusing to me is YOU DO!!!!
Concerned with a multi millionaire, in town, throwing his hat in the ring??
Concerned that the assets he brings to the political table may be troubling to the paupers
in the ruling party??
Concerned that a self made businessman may potentially cause a bankrupt ruling majority to
spend money they don't have?
I love it......................
An apolitical candidate seeking office...............
A man who will pull votes from ALL parties.....
Sparky for mayor???
Ignorant analogy......
Thor now laughs at you............Buckle up Bum.
He may not win,,,,,and I have no horse in that race
But you have no money to spend, and he does.........
I'd love to do your books in November when this carnage is done..........
I dare you to wipe the smile off my face........LOL

Nah,,, you can't.......just get on your knees, close your eyes.....and accept the hammer.
It's all you can do.................

I never said I defended tomasone. I clearly have issues with his leadership as well. Cause Tomasone will just be a casualty of his own party. Those who walk lock step with buchannan and parisi are bound for failure...simple as that! No one has to defend or beat up tomasone. He will implode all on his own with the help of his party leaders. That my friend is a no brainer!!!!

HOWEVER.....I'm not impressed in the least with the endorsements from the dems, reps or cons either! I am a registered blank with no horse in this race. I just call em' as I see em' and there is not ONE that has been endorsed that I would pull a lever for. IMHO

Mr. DelGallo may be a 'nice guy'......(alot of history here).....but Rotterdam needs to 'get out of it's hole'.....it certainly doesn't need a new one dug,,,,
albeit a nice pool, fountain or landscaping.......although if we can stomach the DelGallo country pool designs on burdeck street all through the
town------then be my guest.....Nisky, Scotia, Duanesburg etc will all be jealous.........

Keep your seat belts fastened Sal. Another leader will enter the fray. All bets are now off. Stay tuned here. Announcements and more walking papers are imminent. Salami's got another hot one.... Too delicious!

Tomasone may or may not win....no one REALLY knows that! But if he loses, it CLEARLY will not be because of Sparky Franny!
This is the biggest joke EVER! IMHO

I'm not happy with tommasone so I probably would not vote for him. Sparky is....is.... .... I don't have the words, so I definitely will  not vote for him either. IF McGarry makes the primary...I will vote for him.
