Quoted from Shadow
I'll get behind Obama the same way the liberals got behind Bush.

I really thoughht that Tedisco would have cleaned up in this race. I honestly didn't think this race was going to be this close.

I am really glad this is over though. I was really sick and tired of all of the tv ads!!!!!

yeah, the GOP should concede...right. Just like liberals always do! I assume this is the talking point that the NYSDP is spreading: basically throw the military ballots in the garbage.

That's what the Krats always do-like in Florida. They know that no one in the military supports them.

ALBANY — Assembly Minority Leader Jim Tedisco will step down from his leadership post — a move that he insists should not be construed as his declaring victory in his race for U.S. Congress with Democrat Scott Murphy.

Even so, Tedisco said in a news conference from his office, that in the days and weeks ahead he'll be "transitioning" with the expectation of his taking a seat in Congress, and devoting himself to an expected legal battle over the counting of ballots in that race.

Friday afternoon, the state Board of Elections posted on its Web site something much rarer than a blue moon or a two-headed calf: a total dead heat in a race for U.S. Congress.

The board just posted its unofficial results in the race in the 20th District, showing 77,225 votes apiece for Democrat Scott Murphy and Tedisco, the Republican minority leader who earlier in the day announced he was stepping down from his leadership post.
