Obama, Schumer both AWOL on stimulus

    I am appalled at Sen. Schumer’s offhanded comment that the public doesn’t care about all the pork and excesses of the so-called stimulus package. I have yet to encounter or hear from anyone who agrees, other than possibly our election-driven representatives.
    I tried to call Sen. Schumer’s local offi ce to express my outrage and received a “his mailbox is full and you are being disconnected” message. Likewise, constant busy signals at both his and Sen. Gilibrand’s D.C. offices, all of which indicate to me that they were being besieged by angry constituents. Maybe if he emptied his mailbox, he would know how the people feel!
    President Obama’s honeymoon is over. He and his cowardly followers who refused to allow debate, instead instilling fear if they did not act by his President’s Day deadline, have succeeded in raping us all. No time for our representatives to even read what they have signed, but they could allow three days to go by so President Obama could be in Denver for another politically inspired speech and signing event.
    Maybe, just maybe, one of the jobs lost in the future will be his.

Funny, but I thought of your post when I read this. And obviously you weren't the only one.

Why do they even offer email addresses as a way of communicating with their constituents when they don't even read them? The message they are sending is ...... 'we don't care about you, the taxpayer'! It is a slap in the face.

This thread should be titled, Dumb and Dumber. We have the worst Senators in the US. When you look at South Carolina with the great Senator Jim DeMint and then look at these useless windbags. Sickening.

   Kristen G is finished in the next Primary. I pray that the REP find someone electable to remove Schumer, who also caused a run on a California bank with his big mouth.

It won't help. Her first action as Senator was to sit down with Rev. Sharpton! Now she's throwing over her great NRA members. The same liberal crap in a prettier package. And its Sallie's Kratz that will throw her out in a primary not the evil REPS.

   Newsflash: Both Former Gov. Pataki and Congressman Peter King from Long Island (a real Conservative) are eyeballing a run against Kristen G.

They are not AWOL they are dividing it up......
