What part of not qualified don't you understand? Until recently she didn't even exercise her right to vote that's how much she cared about electing our government officials. All she brings with her is her name.

If we can't blame Caroline Kennedy for the faults of other Kennedys, doesn't it make sense that we can't give her extra credit because she's a Kennedy?  Then what is her major qualification?  What makes her stand out over other candidates...OTHER THAN WHO HER PARENTS WERE???

Tight with Obama, Caroline could help N.Y.

I wish to add my voice to those urging Gov. David Paterson to appoint Caroline Kennedy to the Senate seat being vacated by Hillary Clinton. Ms. Kennedy’s appointment would be a nobrainer benefit to the people of New York state.
It was just about a year ago that I, along with other local Democrats, endorsed Sen. Obama’s candidacy in the hope that his leadership would bring good people into public service.
Ms. Kennedy said it herself very well recently that this is no time for capable people to be sitting on the sidelines. The nation and, goodness knows, New York state, need the best people we can get to represent us. Ms. Kennedy’s strong relationship with President-elect Obama will be good for New York, and she will make an excellent partner with our able senior senator, Chuck Schumer.
As a former mayor, I applaud her recent visits with upstate elected officials. In this way, she will hear from the front lines about the economic crisis facing our region. Even the most experienced elected official from Long Island would have to see and hear about upstate problems in exactly the way she has done.
Gov. Paterson can do the state a great service by putting Caroline Kennedy to work for New York state.

Experience may be overrated in politics

I can’t understand why so many people are concerned about the lack of political experience that Caroline Kennedy has in her quest for state senator.
Just look at the condition of New York state (not to mention our country). Who put us here? Experienced politicians, that’s who. Every time there’s an election, they all seem to know what to do to fix the problems. How did we get in this mess if everyone has the knowledge and experience to do the right thing? Maybe it’s better to have good principles and values rather than lobbyists.
Also, she admits that she didn’t vote in some elections. Well, maybe that shows us how smart she is.

How about freakin' outdated??????????? Do they understand that concept??????

the world is moving in Gigabites..............and here we are having a conversation about a 'blue blood'........who hires 'gigabite specialists' to make her
grocery list and shop for it.......PUUUULLLLLLLLEASE!!!!!!!

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
