Valarie is right, people are losing jobs, their homes, and their life savings and if the state and local government doesn't stop raising taxes to support it's many welfare programs we the people who are paying for these hand outs are going to join those people who are losing their homes,jobs, and savings.

Exactly! But let me remind everyone, that once the government creates a new government program, it is here to stay. These government programs end up to be a taxpayer's money pit. With it's supervisors, employees, supplies, buildings......they never go away. And our government just keeps creating even more. And they seem to use the poor to to build their personal empires at the hard working, taxpayers expense.
