If anyone read my blog lately this is redundant but may also serve as a worthwhile reminder.

I'm participating in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Sunday, October 19th, 2008.  This year the walk starts at 12:00 in Albany's Washington Park.

While I've been involved with this event before, this is my first attempt at online fundraising.  In less than a week we've already raised 35% of our team goal which is encouraging.  Please take a moment to visit my personal page or our team page, make a donation if possible, or just come on out and walk with us.

Record-setting event
Nearly 13,000 people participated in the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event in Albany’s Washington Park on Sunday. A record $1,050,000 was raised, the most in the event’s 13-year history. Funds raised through Making Strides Against Breast Cancer are committed to breast cancer research, education and outreach programs, advocacy and patient services.
