Children offered
free DNA kits
    LOUDONVILLE — Parents can get free kits containing their children’s fingerprints and DNA today.
    The National Child Identification Program will be at the fellowship hall of Good Shepherd Luthern Church at 510 Albany Shaker Road between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. Parents of children 4 years old and older can have their children’s fingerprints taken, as well as a mouth swab to provide a DWI sample.
    Children younger than age 4 are not eligible because their fingers are not yet developed.
    The program is done in partnership with the FBI, the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI and the National Football Coaches Association.
    The kits will be turned over to the parents for safe keeping and the FBI will not keep any information.
    There is a limit of 1,000 kits. Appointments are recommended but not required. To schedule an appointment, contact Warren Delp at 758-9035.

That would be the day that my kid would be treated like a common criminal. Like the FBI won't keep these DNA samples. Yea, right! If they want to really be like 'big brother'...just make it mandatory for ALL to be 'swabbed'. Of course they won't do that since they know they'd have revolt on their hands so they are just back dooring it in through the kids....all in the name of fear and safety! Hogwash!
