Let's all send Christopher Muther, the reporter, a nice big THANK YOU card!!!!!

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil,
The Light at the End of the Tunnel has been turned off.
We apologize for the inconvenience.

Is it any worse that the reference in the "Honeymooners?"  That would be the classic Jackie Gleeson version...

Joe Suhrada refers to this as  " telling it like it is " - Only he is not very funny- Constantly reminding everyone that Schenectady is a crummy place to live -

Schenectady (the city) IS a crummy place to live. Ya don't need Joe Suhrada to tell ya that.

It doesn't have to be crummy and it wont be.....it will just become expensive......

I agree that it is crummy over there and getting crummier and now the bums are sneeking into our town too. but in a way we should be quiet about this since it will hurt the values on our homes. We dont need Joe S {who I really like in a lot of ways too} to be blabbing it.

The only way a town/city etc is considered 'good' is by way of the average citizens with BIG mouths.......
