only when leaders lack a visual concrete plan for the sheeple to see and hear....not just look and listen.....

I think that many of the things that came in recently on the west side of town were partially with either the Rotterdam IDA or the economic council that John Mertz leads up.  Now, with saying that bringing McLane's to town is only moving jobs, I have to actually agree with that.  With the exception that when/if they move to Rotterdam means that they will probably be expanding their workstaff, due to increased sales and that they are more able to do things from their new location (and to be honest, I have no clue where their current location is), I don't know how much more staffing (a.k.a. jobs) we will be seeing for this company if they were to move to Rotterdam.  I just checked out their website (http://www.mclaneco.com/wps/po.....aneco+-+Job+Openings) to see what local jobs they currently have available.  The ONLY posting they have for Guilderland falls under the following link (http://www.mclaneco.com/wps/po.....ervice+Distribution/) for drivers with a CDL-A license.

Anyone know if this ever became a go ahead?

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil,
The Light at the End of the Tunnel has been turned off.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
