State Legislature to offer baby-friendly offices
Tuesday, March 4, 2008
The Associated Press

ALBANY — Legislators hope new breast-feeding rooms and diaper changing stations in the Legislative Office Building and the Capitol will make visits easier for citizens, officials and lobbyists with young children.
Each of the nine floors of the office building is now equipped with stations stocked with hand sanitizers and baby wipes. Nurse’s offices in the building and Capitol also have refrigerators to store breast milk. There’s a comfortable chair in each room and changing stations in women’s and men’s rest rooms.
The additions were inspired by a visitor to the capital who couldn’t find a place to nurse her child.
Each room costs $1,200 dollars to fit out.
Lawmakers hope the effort will be a model for private employers.

Just do it on a bench if ya feel the need to be with the public when nursing your child.....or stay home until IT IS FINISHED(ya know, weened),,,I saw the report on the news, and, well, I wouldn't want to sit in the chair that some other baby spit up on or some mom spilled her breast milk on.....ooohhh, yuck....who do we get to pay to sterilize them????

I'm all for breastfeeding where ever,,,it's better than looking at 1/2 naked men and women all over the advertising spaces(playboy, abercrombie fitch,MTV etc).....or even political ads...

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
