Doesn't any party chair have to be nominated first?

You can "prefer to think" any way you want - you didn't run against Signore's seat tho, you ran for Mertz's seat.

Sigsnore a gentleman??? HAHAHAHAHAHAA - No.

Actually, I was running for one of the two seats that was up for election -- one held by the "person whose    name we shall not mention" and the other  Joe Signore - who I consider a gentleman and a family             acquaintance.  I have known his uncle, Ray Zanta, for years.

My philosophy in life is to try to treat people well -- Joe and I may not agree on some political issues but he
has always treated me well and I do respect him -- others may not share that view .. but it is a free country
and they are entitled to their own opinion.

I certainly respect a man like Joe Signore much more than the "person whose name we shall not mention"
and "the candy man".

“And yet our opponents tell us not to interfere with abortion. They tell us not to impose our morality on those who wish to allow or participate in the taking of the life of infants before birth. Yet no one calls it imposing morality to prohibit the taking of life after a child is born. We’re told about a woman’s right to control her own body. But doesn’t the unborn child have a higher right, and that is to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?” – Ronald Reagan

Joe Signore is not who you think he is DVR.  He was guilty of trespassing on private prfoperty and caught doing damage on it.  In fact he caused a whole lot of trouble.  As for Mertz for Chair..what a hoot.  Is he going to be a "recliner" or a "Queen Anne" chair?

Boy DVR, did you alert Matt martin and Bob Godlewski of your "dear' feelings for one of the most ruthless pols Rotterdam has ever seen?  I guess you had no problem with the way your "dear" friend gave his son a job as a cop against the wishes of the chief of police?

Or appointing an alledged child molester to a position in his new admin.  How about the way he cut a deal to get a dem to appoint Judy D to a seat?  The guy was a jerk! IMHO

Joe Signore has always been a gentleman to me .. I wouldn't describe my feelings as "dear feelings" for him.
I believe I used the term acquaintance.

If I stopped being nice to every Rotterdam politician that ever did something to someone -- I might as well
stay home.

I usually don't agree with you, but I do in this instance. Which just goes to prove my point. that in rotterdam, you are defined by your politics!! Your friends are defined by politics! Pathetic to say the least. Only in rotterdam!!!!!!!!

I have many friends and family members that are ind, blanks, rep and dem. I don't agree with their politics and they don't agree with mine all the time........but WE DON'T TALK POLITICS 24/7!!!! We have dinners together, go to kids birthdays, have cook outs, enjoy holidays together and baptize each other's kids!

Only in rotterdam, the sh!thole, does this sort of bullcrap go on!!

It's sooooooooooo rotterdam!! IMHO of course

I don't define my friendships by politics -- just because someone is not a Democrat doesn't force me to say that I don't like them.      And to be perfectly honest with you, I have met a number of Democrats who I
don't consider to be friends.     Some folks only know you when they are running for office and then only
long enough for the check with your campaign contribution to clear the bank  or who act all friendly when you
are pounding the pavement handing out campaign literature door-to-door but stop talking to you the day
they get elected and then only speak when they want some help 6 months later  (if they read this blog they
know who they who they are)    .....  and although I try to remain generally optimistic and am probably too
loyal for my own good  --- I am not stupid or blind to what they are up to.
