Early birds could get glimpse of eclipse

By MARC PARRY, Staff writer
Monday, August 27, 2007

Get out of bed in time and you should be able to see a colorful lunar eclipse early Tuesday morning.

The total eclipse begins at 5:52 a.m. EDT, according to NASA.

Folks on the West Coast get the best view, with the entire eclipse unfolding "high in the post-midnight sky."

In the east, 6:14 a.m. sunrise will cut things short. "That's okay," says NASA, "even a little eclipse can be a dream

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil,
The Light at the End of the Tunnel has been turned off.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
