The fact is that I don't choose to patronize or not patronize a business based on the party enrollment of its owner. In most cases, I don't know what party they belong -- but I do know that a number of the businesses I patronize are run by Republicans -- including one run by a past state GOP chairman --- he know I am a Democrat and we love to discuss politics and other things .. and get along quite well.
On the other hand -- a certain business owner who used to be a county legislator will NEVER get my businessor the business of my family members because he was insulting and rude to my family members. It has NOTHING to do with politics .. it has everything to do with his lousy disposition.

Well I don't know if he got Metrokratz cash, since Altamont is in Albany County...although I understand that at least part of it is in occupied Schenectady County...and I won't reveal my source, but it is one that is reliable and has known Ron for many, many years...in many capacities, including politics...but I was recently informed that he opened an insurance office in Altamont that failed soon after it was opened.

You keep saying that there is this renaissance in the city, but NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER provide any information to how or why. You are asked how a city is in this renaissance given the highest taxes, subsntially high crime rate, businesses downtown closing, properlly values plumetting, no one wanting to buy a house in the city, houses sit unsold after a year, the poorest road conditiions, etc---you are asked to repond to HOW that is indicative of a renaissance, and you NEVER NEVER NEVER answer, nor do you EVER provide proof of the comments you make.
